Broccoli Salad

Ingredients

Pack Broccoli (boiled or steamed)  1

Salt  1 Pinch 

pepper 1  Pinch 

Dried Cranberries  1/2 cup

Sunflower seed 1/4 cup

Vinegar  2 Tsp

Mustard  1 Tsp

Clove Garlic (Minced)  1

Lemon Zest (grated)  1/2 Tsp

Canola Oil  1/2 cup

shredded carrots & cabbage mix 2 cups

Chopped green onions  1/4 cup

 

Broccoli Salad

1- In a medium bowl, whisk together the vinegar, mustard, garlic, and lemon zest. Gradually whisk in the canola oil while drizzling in a fine stream.

 

2- In a serving bowl, combine the broccoli, dried cranberries, and onion. Pour the dressing over, and toss to coat evenly.

 

3- Chill for at least 15 minutes then toss with sunflower seeds before serving.

 

4- This is also good with ½ cup of shredded mozzarella cheese mixed in.
